I didn’t forget, but there were a lot of other things which were more important than posting. I hope this post can compensate the posts I did not make (and will not make).

First, I’ll show you four games. Yes, four. And it get’s even better. Every single one of this games is a collection of minigames. A total of 245 minigames. All four of ‘em were created by jmtb02.com, so kudos to them.

The first one is called Grid16. The game is pretty self explaining, so just start playing. I managed to go from 3.2 to 4.0 with just falldown left. My overall record is 5.2.

The second game is the first one in the Four Second Triology; Four Second Fury. Again, self explaining. Fury has a total of 20 games, so you’ll spend a decent amount of time at this page.
The sequel to Four Second Fury is called Four Second Frenzy. It contains 50 minigames, so you better start playing.
By far the biggest game is the last one in the triology: Four Second Firestorm contains no less than 175 games! If you’ve got quite some free time on your hands, play it now.

… if you don’t (or if you have an excessive amount of free time), watch the movies below. They’re made by a fellow Dutchman. It’s a collection of really good pranks. I’m pretty sure every single one of them is fake, though it’s still quite amusing to watch.

Unless you’re a fat, ugly guy with a voice that could make a shrew on caffeine fall asleep, you don’t like physics (translation: unless you’re my physics teacher, you don’t like physics).
The unimaginative name might be a prove that the above description applies to the creator of Spin the Black Circle, as well as the fact that this game is entirely based on gravity and momentum.
Nonetheless, it is really fun to play. But as the disclaimer says: it can be deadly frustrating.

And let me give you one warning: do not ever clear your cookies when you did not yet finish the game.

Well, I already told you today’s post would be related to yesterday’s post. Bulletime-ish? No. Japanese? Black background + people in black clothes = pure awesomeness? Ye’ betcha.

You might know today’s video already, but it’s too brilliant to not post. It was recorded at a talent show at the Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. It’s a live performance of Mario World 1-1, with a guy named Andrew Breton playing Mario. Watch below.

Oh, and as for next post (I’ll refrain from saying “tomorrow’s post” from now on), it will be kind of related to today’s post. Though, does “its’a me” ring a bell?

OK, I admit it. 3rd World Farmer is much more serious than I made it sound yesterday. In the game, you control a 3rd World family, and you need to make revenue. You’re in control of what crops the family grows, who goes to school and who does not, who dies and who gets born, pretty much everything.

This game’s site, www.3rdworldfarmer.com, says

We think the game has the potential to be an eye-opener to people who have become accustomed to the ordinary means of communicating third world desperation.

I rather cite comments from the Digg-entry on this game.

Apparently the key to success in any third world country is to raise an army of elephants and harvest tons of peanuts. It was right under our noses the entire time!

This game fails to show the hardships that a majority 3rd world famers face. What this game has taught me is that through hard work and a diversity of crops and livestock they can all be happy, we don’t need to do anything at all to help them. I’m pretty sure that’s not what the game designers wanted…

And yeah, I agree with them. It’s really unrealistic. The game could’ve been so much realistic, it really is a pity it is not. Don’t get me wrong, the game is still fun to play, but an eye-opener?  Nah, not at all.

The catchy name and the slice of chess pie “dedicated” to me are just two random aspects which prove the pure brilliance of the game. In the still under construction A game with Turtles* and Stuff *Yeah Tortoise I care not (created by Darkfrost of rkfrost.info), you control a turtle tortoise, and you’ll have to fight rocket-shooting faces, flame-monsters and other monsters in order to… Ehh… Save the tortoise population, or something along these lines.
Levels have been added, but it seems to be on a hold right now. I’m still rooting for further development.
Oh, and the Tortoise in the game has been added to Super Smash Bros. Brawl! The Tortoise is called Tortiose, because I misspelled it repeatedly (I had never heard of a tortoise before), and I don’t want it to look stupid. So Darkfrost, from now on, it’s called Tortiose. Thank you

Yep, you didn’t misread it. Two cursor games for today. Isn’t that thrilling news?

No, it isn’t, nor do I care. I just wanted to share these with you. The first game is quite funny. It is called Avoider, and the idea is quite simple.
There’s this guy with only a single goal: getting your cursor. He’ll jump at you, launch rockets at you, and anything else he can (and trust me, that’s quite a lot. The game can be found here.

But before you start playing, read the following. Because like I mentioned before, there’s another cursor game. It’s called Cursor*10. You’ll have to cooperate with yourself. You’ve got 10 cursors, which you get to play with one by one, and with one cursor, you’ll e.g. have to keep buttons pushed for the oncoming cursors. It’s a really weird but brilliant, and uses time very well

There’s so much content, I can’t resist the temptation. I see no reason to try so either, so here we go.
From now on, I’ll try to post every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. And perhaps Saturday. Not sure though. I tend to forget, to be honest. But ah well, I’ll just post as often as possible, with a maximum of one post per day. Though, that excludes updates like these, because there are cool games I need to share with you. And last but not least, there are games which came from the mind of a complete genius, which are complete mindfucks, AND which write “the <insert random word here> is a lie!” on the walls.
Right, Portal. But also Shift. It’s a short flashgame, in which you can shift the world in a way I can’t explain. Just reach the end of the level. Sounds easy, eh? It’s not. Trust me. It’s not.

You know what? Writing/reading this is a complete waste of precious Shift-time. Let’s just play, shall we?
